Lodge Farm Cafe sits tucked within the Lodge Farm Business Centre in Castlethorpe, serving as a practical and straightforward spot for a coffee break or casual breakfast amidst a working-day rhythm. The cafe’s location on a business park means it draws in local workers and visitors who appreciate ample parking and the calm views surrounding the area, making it a convenient stop for those needing a break from the usual office hustle.

Inside, the space is modest with just a handful of tables, which creates a cosy, intimate setting but means it can feel cramped during busy spells—especially in the mornings and early afternoons when breakfast orders peak. There’s no outdoor seating, so on warmer days, visitors might find themselves wishing for a spot to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Still, the friendly and attentive staff make good use of the limited space, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere even when things get busy.

The menu leans into familiar brunch and lunch comforts, with highlights like gluten-free full English breakfasts, a variety of wraps and sandwiches including a Coronation Chicken option, and well-prepared coffee offerings ranging from flat whites to hazelnut lattes. For those with a sweet tooth, the Biscoff milkshake adds a twist that has quickly gathered local fans. The cafe also steps beyond the usual breakfast fare on certain nights, with Thursday and Friday burger evenings drawing a crowd for freshly cooked burgers accompanied by sides like sweet potato fries and corn on the cob, providing a relaxed midweek treat with good-value portions.

Lodge Farm Cafe is best visited during the mid-morning lull if you want to avoid waiting for a table. It fits well into a daily routine for nearby workers or locals who want a straightforward place for breakfast or lunch without fuss. The surrounding business park keeps the vibe grounded and practical rather than leisurely, so it’s less about lingering over multiple drinks and more about a solid, satisfying meal paired with approachable service in a no-frills setting.

Cafe in a business park. Small, only a handful of tables inside. They could do with having outdoor seating. Really friendly staff, very attentive. Breakfast menu full of wraps, sandwiches and plates. Basic coffee but does the job. Lots of parking available at the park, nice surroundings when looking out the window.

Was busy but it was the opening day! Food tasted amazing and ambience was great. Nice to have a cafe on site finally. Biscoff milkshake was 15/10 but I felt bad ordering it when they were so busy. Update: tried the breakfast wrap and the variant sausage rolls in the morning and they also taste amazing

Seen plenty of posts on Facebook recommending Lodge Farm Cafe so knew I had to give them a try. It does seem like you’re driving into the middle of nowhere but it is on a fairly busy business park with plenty of parking and nice views. The cafe itself is lovely but only a small amount of tables with no outside seating so it does get busy and you may be required to wait for a table. Luckily we managed to get the last table. Two friendly lady’s greeted us as we entered. Food and drinks order taken at the counter and food arrived around 15 minutes later. Everything is cooked fresh and to order. Really pleased with the breakfast. Local bacon and sausages is a nice touch and much tastier than supermarket brought. Coffee was also really good! All in all, a great experience and I will be back.

Feel very lucky to have been the first customers to the Burger Nights (Thursdays and Fridays 6-9pm). The welcome, service, atmosphere and the food/burgers were absolutely superb! One of the best burgers I have ever tasted. We had the sweet potato fries, skin on fries, coleslaw and corn on the cob too. It was all perfectly cooked and presented. Such great value too. I have already reserved a table for next Thursday. Once people start hearing about these nights, they are going to be very busy.
